On March 7th, 2021 a puja was held at the site of the new Krishna’s Home, a devotee-centered Adult Care / Assisted Living Haven for ISKCON Devotees. Krishna’s Home ACT is being constructed into a ten-bed assisted living facility. It was designed with Vastu Vedic alignment in mind, with one area of the large house designated for men and another for women’s personal space,  bedrooms, and bathrooms. People will gather in the spacious living room and dining room, which also has a separate space for worship. Construction on the project is set to begin immediately.

Krishna’s Home is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for devotees in a Krishna Conscious environment as they enter their later years of life. Krishna’s Home is sorely needed right now. Srila Prabhupada’s mission has always valued devotees, and Krishna’s Home will serve as an extended Ashram to continue serving devotees. Krishna’s Home will offer 24 hour assisted living care for up to 10 devotees at a time.

Krishna’s Home will follow the guidelines of ISKCON and will be interactive with ISKCON Tucson and has received many accolades for their endeavors in this service. Some of the people that have offered their endorsement of Krishna’s Home are HH Lokanath Swami and HG Mahatma das. More testimonials can be found here: https://www.krishnashome.org/testimonials

Krishna’s Home will be open for short- or long-term residence, depending on their needs. There will be full-time and part-time jobs available for devotees who work in the caregiving sector. On our website, applications will be open. Management and administrative positions will also be open.

Residents who apply must have medical insurance in the United States and a Social Security number, as the administration will obey Arizona assisted living home guidelines. The environment at Krishna’s Home would be a sanctuary for devotees who are in need of general care for basic living needs. It will also bring devotees together to participate in devotional service. They would be able to serve and give devotional service to the full extent of their abilities. Whatever the residents’ abilities are, they can do devotional service in creative ways, such as making garlands, preparing and offering Prasad in connection with Krishna’s Home and the Tucson Temple, with the caregivers’ help

The website will be published with construction updates and progress. Any questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact us and we will gladly respond. Krishna’s Home is expected to be finished and operational in early 2022, and will be preparing for this between now and the end of 2021, including job openings and applications for live-in residents.
